For Soul Solutions November, we will be gathering in true November fashion… POTLUCK style! Bring something tasty to share with the group, and lets get our gratitude on and feast together! Last year we had so much success with this event that we didn’t even have space on the tables, so luckily this year we are in a bigger venue! It was a warm, fun, connected, and nourishing night of trying out so many Autumnal, comforting, and creatively delicious surprises!
The topic for the night, (in addition to being a feast-fest– seriously, come hungry!), will be Responsibility. When I heard this from my intuitive guidance I went, “WOAH, WHAT A LOADED TOPIC!”
There are so many ways we can interpret this topic, but I can tell you what it means for me, right now.
As many of you know I am having a baby this coming February, and as a result I am naturally moving through a time where I will be gaining a lot more responsibility!! Thus, I have been re-evaluating how I distribute my energy in a practical, no-nonsense way. I have already encountered some seriously life-changing shifts because of this baby blessing, and can’t wait to impart those to you!
In this day and era, I feel we put all sorts of pressure on ourselves to be responsible, and it can borderline on expectations of perfection. Because of this, we often end up feeling distracted or overwhelmed, and do not take responsibility for the tiny-yet-mighty, super-freakin-important things that we CAN control. You know, the things that would make a huge difference in terms of our energy and the way we can impact our life purpose and quality of life, ourselves, and others?
With so much chaos going on in the world, (socially, politically, personally, professionally, practically… the list goes on…), how can we learn to discern our own voice, take care of ourselves, yet still stand up for what is right and what we believe in?
How do we surrender into what we really need on a soul level versus what we think we have to do from the levels of Ego?
What (or who) do we feel responsible for in our lives and how does that impact the way we create our realities?
What commitments do we have, what energy are we aligning with, and how can we become more discerning with how we take responsibility for our own life, actions and energy (versus the life, actions, and energy of others)? This is an important consideration whether we are thinking of clients we serve, family members, friends, co-workers and bosses, or loved ones…
I know I have experienced the miraculous shift that can profoundly occur when I am able to let go of responsibility for the feelings, thoughts, and actions of others, and focus 100% on ownership of my own space. If I am out of balance, I find it is often because I haven’t accepted total responsibility for loving my own self and allowing my healing.
Like all things we work toward on Earth, it is an integration. Balance is found in setting a plan and focusing on a system for our own success, (WHAT DO WE NEED?), and also, paradoxically, feeling safe and trusting enough with the Universe to let go of the specific outcomes.
I am looking forward to sharing some wonderful tools, resources, and experientials around this power-packed inspired dialogue topic.
Here is some feedback about our past Soul Solutions:
“I am giving myself a more balanced life. Slowing down the pace, enjoying life more and letting go of old patterns of pushing and driving myself.”
“It was SUCH a wonderful evening. I totally felt so much connection, and that we are all the same at the core. Thanks Natalie for holding such a fantastic space!”
“I am still post-processing the experience, which was punctuated by beautiful thunder, lightning, and cleansing rain. I awoke with such a feeling of peace and wellbeing, ready to share from a fulfilled heart.”
“YES!! It was a magical night. I felt such overwhelming love, calm, and acceptance. The bonus was the storm, which added to the wonderful energy of the evening.”
“Soul Solutions was beyond incredible this past week. Thank you for the gift of this group!!”
Please bring a snack, a $5-10 suggested donation, or a folding chair or two to keep our group momentum going strong. You can RSVP at www.trueselfinstitute.com/professionals or here on the site.

Let’s support each other toward a happier and more abundant personal and professional life by learning about each other more deeply. I have been amazed at some of the connections that have formed since starting this group!

After going through a deeply personal healing experience in 2012-2013 (if you didn’t get a chance to read about it already, you can click here), I realized as a blossoming therapist how very important a variety of spiritual issues could be for not only myself, but for potential future clients. Due to the sensitive nature of these topics, I knew that I would eventually want to find some way to bring matters of the heart and soul out into a professionally-driven conversation.
And that is what started: a dialogue.
A coffee date here, a networking lunch there, and before I knew it I had discovered that there were many professionals, from all sorts of disciplines, who were passionately interested in ideas of how spirituality, energy work, forgiveness, mindfulness, or other alternative methods of healing could help themselves and their clients or patients.
It seemed, however, that they were in hiding– until I had shown them the true colors of my own passion, many folks weren’t willing to “come out of the spiritual closet.”
This realization led me to thinking that we could do something about this unfortunate reality– the fact that our current healthcare model is typically so divorced from these important topics– right here in our own Arizona community. I was inspired to create a real space in which topic-focused conversations such as these could take place in a professionally-considerate manner. And so began the idea for a spiritually-considerate, topic-focused networking & study group.
Whoever you are and whatever you do to serve others, your voice is important! We need helpers and healers of all sorts to join the cross-disciplinary dialogue to break down stigmatic barriers and spread the light of connection.
I invite you to join us… and be your bad-ass, professionally-competent, spiritually-empowered, and endlessly passionate True Self!
(Note that this series is non-denominational in nature– people from all religions and forms of belief are welcomed and encouraged to join!) If you are interested in meeting for our next event, please fill out the form below to get in touch:
